ahlibank recently held a celebration honoring the latest batch of HIMAM graduates; its flagship youth development program. The event was held at ahlibank’s Head Office in Wattayah, and witnessed the presence of the Bank’s employees and senior management. Through a well-crafted development process, HIMAM stands as a testament to ahlibank’s efforts to empower the youth and develop their talents, thereby supporting the country’s Omanisation efforts.
The event marks the commemoration of the 7th batch of HIMAM graduates. Following a welcome speech and a word from ahlibank’s CEO, Said Abdullah Al Hatmi, the event began with an introduction to HIMAM, its latest batch, and a Q&A session. After a video presentation about HIMAM, the 7th batch was felicitated, ending the ceremony on a momentous note.
Since its inception in 2015, HIMAM has opened the doors of success to a large number of people. At its core, the program aims to enhance the skills of the participants and bolster their abilities, while also providing them with the needed knowledge and tools to succeed in the banking sector. The program has employed many of its graduates, and has proven successful in supporting the Sultanate’s socio-economy time and again. At the event, ahlibank also announced the onboarding of new HIMAM applicants, marking this as the 9th batch of the HIMAM program.
As a Growth Development Program, HIMAM puts applicants under various testing criteria to qualify them for participation. This includes interviews and assessments to ensure the selection of the most competent individuals. The program aims to evaluate the technical and soft skills of the applicants to prepare them for what’s to come in their future careers.
At the forefront of its operations, ahlibank is committed to enhancing the capabilities of Omani youth. The HIMAM program contributes to increasing the Omanisation rate by preparing a new generation of young individuals for a bright and prosperous future in the Sultanate of Oman.
