“Little ahlibanker” Event Highlights ahlibank’s Commitment to Financial Education and Nurturing a Strong Workplace Culture

As a bank dedicated to cultivating a financially astute generation, ahlibank hosted the “Little ahlibanker” event on 18 August 2025 at its Head Office. The one-day initiative welcomed its employees’ children to experience the world of banking first-hand, providing an engaging introduction to the financial sector while reaffirming the bank’s commitment to employee engagement and family inclusion.

The event brought together nearly 100 children, offering them a hands-on experience of stepping into the role of a banker for a day. Through guided tours across the bank’s core operations, participants explored the different branch formats, including corporate, Islamic, and conventional, where they observed essential services such as account opening. They were also educated about alternative service points, including ATMs, MFKs, and POS stations, which demonstrated the extensive reach of the bank’s retail network.

In addition, the children were introduced to ahliconnect and gained a behind-the-scenes look at its state-of-the-art data center, which forms the backbone of ahlibank’s technology infrastructure. At the Innovation Lab, they experienced advanced solutions such as avatars and virtual reality, further broadening their perspective on the future of banking.

Guided by ahlibank employees, the young visitors engaged in interactive learning activities and workshops on banking and sustainable practices. This experiential approach not only gave the children practical exposure to how modern banking operates but also instilled valuable lessons in financial literacy and forward thinking.
