Ahlibank employees honored for decade-long service

Dedicating its success and impressive growth to its strong human capital, ahlibank honored its employees who have completed a decade-long service to the bank. Attended by senior management and staff members, the ceremony was held at a virtual event, recently.

The employees were felicitated for their loyalty to the Bank and their commitment to the departments they represent. They were lauded for playing their assigned roles in line with the vision and mission of the Bank and for continuing to work harmoniously, and in sync, with other team members and departments. By honoring employees in this initiative, ahlibank recognized the value of a long-standing team that is instrumental for the bank’s growth in Oman’s competitive banking sector.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohammed Mohsin Al Mufargi, AGM – Head of Human Resources, thanked the employees on the honor roll and acknowledged the importance of every staff member in shaping the progress of the bank. He attributed the Bank’s nurturing and motivating work culture for developing a strong human capital. According to him, the very premise behind ahlibank’s human resource development strategy has been the manifestation of endless possibilities for career growth, alongside a much needed flexibility to change and a collection of opportunities to learn.

“We have made human resource development our rationale for enjoying departmental excellence and experiencing calculated growth within the industry. It is thanks to the drive and the aspiration that every employee brings to the organization, which has helped in establishing newer paradigms of growth and progress. We have, since the beginning, opened our doors to youth who want to live their dreams and pursue careers that are reflective of their skills and passion. And, over the years, we have seen that our policy to provide career options with endless possibilities, has helped pave the way for a strong human capital; one that wants to be a longtime partner,” he stated.

Attesting to the partner concept, Muneer Al Balushi, AGM, Head Retail distribution who was honored along with others for completing ten years with the Bank, maintained that his role in the Bank has been that of a partner from the beginning. “And I am delighted to continue giving my best to this partnership for the benefit of the bank, as well as for myself. My personal and professional goals are aligned to ahlibank’s long-term growth roadmap and this reciprocated work environment keeps me motivated” he exclaimed, adding that he has grown personally and professionally in the last ten years. Reiterating similar sentiments, Zaliya Al Balushi, DGM – Large Corporate, added that she cherishes everyday spent as an employee at ahlibank. ““As employees at ahlibank we are constantly supported and encouraged by our esteemed leadership’s unique approach, who have put great emphasis on teamwork and constantly seeking opportunities to improve work flow mechanisms at the Bank in order to achieve the best outcome possible”. she said.
