Lending its support to initiatives to ramp up the healthcare infrastructure in the Sultanate, Ahlibank has announced the financing of RO 7 million for Sohar Women and Children Hospital in Sohar
The signing ceremony took place on October 12 with Amakan Sohar LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aman Healthcare SAOC with the major shareholder being Oman Investment Corporation SAOC (OIC), a leading Omani private equity investment company.
Aman Healthcare’s first project, Sohar Women and Children Hospital, has a capacity of 60 beds and is expected to be operational in 2022. Aman Healthcare is planning to build another 70-bed women and children hospital in Muscat. These hospitals will focus on providing high-quality medical services for women and children with a family-friendly environment, hotel-like modern infrastructure, and experienced international qualified staff.
Commenting on the collaboration, Ms. Hanaa Al Kharusi, GM – Corporate Banking, Ahlibank said, “We consider it a privilege to finance the RO 15 million Sohar women and children Hospital, which is Oman’s first women and children hospital in Sohar. The partnership with Amakan Sohar LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aman Healthcare SAOC, is certain to usher in positive changes in the healthcare sector in Oman.”
